John recently removed a 667 gm thyroid affected with multinodular goitre which was causing severe compressive symptoms.

The surgery was highly successful and the patient, a 52 year old man, reports a huge reduction in pressure symptoms, better sleep and easier breathing. His neck now looks much more normal in contour.

There were no complications and His voice remains normal and parathyroid gland function has been maintained.

Here is a photo of the removed thyroid gland.
