John Had two visiting surgeons on Monday 27 March He did a total thyroidectomy for a large retrosternal thyroid goitre that had previously been attempted and abandoned at another hospital, a parathyroidectomy for a patient with hyperparathyroidism and a thyroid lobectomy for a large thyroid nodule.
