John has just returned from a course in Atlanta and Philadelphia on trans oral robotic surgery TORS he will use this technology in treating patients with HPV related oropharyngeal (Throat) cancers. These are the most common mucosal cancers now seen in NZ and the incidence has doubled over the last 2 decades. The deVinci Robot is based at Southern Cross North Harbour and patients will be treated by John there.
