IFHNOS 8th World Congress Brisbane August 2026

It was great to be in Brisbane last week for The 8th IFHNOS World Congress. A fantastic program and plenty of old friends to catch up with. Highlights were the presentations on neoadjuvant chemotherapy and immunotherapy in treatment of head and neck cancer and particularly its use in pre-surgical treatment showing strong signals for safe treatment de-escalation and is paving the way for the near future. The work on state of the art jaw reconstruction using Virtual Surgical Planning (VSP) with AI soft tissue vascular planning was also very impressive.

Opening session at IFHNOS 8th World Congress Brisbane Convention Centre
