Parotidectomy
I recently performed a successful parotidectomy on a patient from outside of Auckland who travelled here to specifically have her surgery by me. The procedure went well and there were no complications. I reviewed her last week and her pathology was not reported by the laboratory prior to the appointment. I contacted her over the weekend when the results showing a benign salivary gland tumour (called a pleomorphic adenoma) had finally come through and she sent me this lovely
